DOROTHY BREININGER

Founder, Owner and Professional Organizing Expert

Born in a small town in Wisconsin, Dorothy comes from the kind of community where people greet you with a warm hug, help you jump start your car in the cold winter without being asked, and where people actually keep their word around promises. Dorothy’s mom introduced her to organizing early, her father taught her business. At age 16 and after she became a state champion in gymnastics and track, Dorothy opened her own gymnastics academy in the family home. Her commitment to doing things right, understanding the emotions of others, and creating massive transformation for herself and others is what she can bring to you. She was born with it. She grew up with it and she wants to share it with you.

MARTY ESTEL

Lead Organizer

“Mighty Marty” was born organized. Growing up in a family of eight, he learned early to keep his stuff in order and found that others around him always came to him for advice.  More recently, Marty spent nine years caring for his late wife and learned how to organize life around his values. He is able to teach that concept to others as they make decisions to declutter, organize, or downsize. Marty is a certified substance abuse counselor (Mt San Antonio College) which makes him a natural fit to assist Dorothy on the show, Hoarders. His quick pace, super positive attitude, and commitment to “do the right thing for the client,” places him at the top of LA’s Organizing list.

Debby Bitticks

Intergenerational Expert, Cancer and Health Advocate

Debby co-produced an award-winning documentary “Saving Our Parents,” and has written and hosted a PBS television pledge special. Debby has appeared on CBS Morning News, ABC, NBC, FOX, QVC, CNN Financial News as well as other cable shows, and has given numerous national radio interviews. Debby is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the National Council on the Aging (NCOA) and is CEO and President of Vital Options International, a cancer communications, support and advocacy organization.

Lynn Benson

MSW, Parenting Expert

Her extensive background and education providing first hand guidance and assistance to families, children and the elderly, gives Lynn the unique ability to create a system that is efficient for use in both emergency situations and day-to-day family management. Lynn earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work and carries a diverse and exceptional background. Lynn began her career as Director of Operations for a national multi-unit childcare and elder day care company overseeing numerous facilities throughout California. Lynn co-developed, launched and maintained innovative curriculum for Intergenerational Day Care Programs serving both children and seniors.

Larry Brown

Software Engineer

With over 40 years in the Information Systems industry, Larry has led numerous large, multidisciplinary projects to successful conclusions. As CEO of Imaging Options, Inc., he managed a provider of web-based consumer and business hosting and consulting services. Prior to that, he was VP and Chief Information Officer of Electronic Clearing House, Inc. (ECHO), now part of Intuit Payment Solutions, where the payment system developed under his direction in 1995 was one of the first systems to accept credit cards over the Internet. Prior to ECHO, he was a software engineering director for the Financial Systems Division of Unisys Corporation, managing the development of branch banking systems for extremely large international banks. Among others, his products’ customers included HSBC, Banamex, TSB Lloyds, and BNP Paribas. He has also held executive IT positions with North Carolina Federal Savings & Loan and Florida National Banks of Florida, Inc.

Bob Hammer

Director of All Things Digital

Bob Hammer is a “road warrior” in his professional life. All too often, his job requires him to remotely run his personal/family life. Bob has been an avid user of Digital LifeCloudⓇ for over 9 years.Bob is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) , a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. After graduating with an accounting major from the University of Southern California, Bob joined the international CPA firm of Deloitte. During his nine years with them, Bob developed an expertise in large account management and computer auditing focusing on the complex audits involving insurance companies, insurance brokerages and savings & loans. Bob later became COO of a major insurance brokerage firm which was acquired by one of the top 10 International insurance brokerages. He also used papertyper.net to help him write his accounting papers at USC.

HARVEY HAWKS

Executive Assistant to DTO

Harv received his BG from Indiana University and his MA from CSU Dominguez Hills. Ranging from professional skateboarder (in his youth) to construction worker to paralegal to desktop publisher to video editor to artist and musician, Harv has experienced and developed a wide range of practical skills, which he puts to use through his small business, Arrowhawk Consulting, and as an organizer working with Dorothy. As an organizer, Harv has an extended history of minimalist living and a keen understanding of managing “wants” vs. “needs.” Moreover, he is uniquely able to employ his creative mind in combination with an empathetic and attentive ear to develop meaningful ways to meet clients’ organizing needs and bring comfort, balance and function into people’s lives.

Ken Bitticks

Creator Digital LifeCloudⓇ Software and Website

His group designed and created software that was licensed to more than 500 Fortune 1500 companies, including Exxon and General Motors. At Delphi Digital, Ken has led the team that created the Digital LifeCloudⓇ software and website. Co-founder of EBIX, he is a leader in automation for property and casualty insurance agents and brokers. EBIX has a global footprint with over 4,000 clients, including 9 of the 10 largest international insurance brokerage firms, and over 190 of the top 200 independent insurance brokers in the U.S. EBIX today has a market cap of $1 Billion. Prior to starting EBIX, Ken was the founder and manager in charge of the Computer Applications Department Worldwide for one of the predecessor firms of Deloitte.
